If a permanent tooth gets knocked out, wash the dirt off with milk or the patient’s saliva and place back in the mouth until you see a dentist! You can also wash and place in MILK (not water as this will kill the root ligament fibres). You may be able to place the tooth back into the socket of where it came out but see your dentist as soon as possible so they can splint the permanent tooth back into place with tooth bonding.
